SamClerg is an 18+ relationship and matchmaking service with published standards for member safety and child protection.
Adult-only access
You must be at least 18 to create or use a SamClerg account. Date-of-birth checks, identity verification and moderation controls support this restriction. Suspected underage accounts are removed from discovery and investigated.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
SamClerg explicitly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualised content involving a minor, attempts to obtain such content, or conduct that facilitates harm to a child. This prohibition applies to profiles, messages, images, documents, voice, links and off-platform conduct connected to SamClerg.
How to report
In a conversation, open Safety and choose Report concern. Select the closest category, including “Underage or child-safety concern”, and add enough detail for review. You can also block the member immediately. For an urgent child-safety concern or if you cannot access an account, email our designated child-safety contact at contact@wapmass.co.uk with “Urgent SamClerg child-safety report” in the subject.
Contact local emergency services or police first. Do not download, copy or redistribute suspected illegal material in order to report it.
Our response
We triage reports, restrict access where risk requires it, preserve necessary evidence, remove prohibited content after obtaining actual knowledge and take action up to permanent account termination. Confirmed CSAM or credible child-exploitation concerns are escalated to the appropriate competent authority or reporting body in accordance with applicable law. We cooperate with lawful investigations.
Other member safety
Never send money or financial credentials to a connection. Keep early communication inside SamClerg, protect your address and contact details, and arrange any in-person meeting in a public place with a trusted person informed. Identity verification reduces risk but does not guarantee another person’s intentions.
Child-safety point of contact
Wapmass Limited’s designated point of contact for Google Play and other child-safety notifications is contact@wapmass.co.uk. This contact is authorised to speak to our enforcement and review process and coordinate action.
