Manage or delete your account

Delete a SamClerg account

1. Sign in to the SamClerg account you want deleted.
2. Open Profile, choose Privacy, then select “Delete my SamClerg account”.
3. Review the retention notice, type DELETE and confirm the request.

What happens after confirmation

Your profile is removed from discovery and account access is disabled. SamClerg immediately begins erasing profile answers, preferences, protected media, notification identifiers and personal message content. Where a sign-in provider account can be deleted automatically, we submit that deletion then record its result. Where an identity provider has retained verification evidence, we open and track a provider-erasure case; its completion is not represented as complete until recorded. We normally respond to a verified request within one month, subject to lawful retention exceptions.

Limited information we may retain

We may retain the minimum records necessary to meet legal, safeguarding, fraud-prevention, payment, dispute or security obligations. Those records are access-restricted, no longer used for matching or marketing, and removed when the applicable need expires. Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups until the normal backup rotation completes.

Delete specific data without closing the account

Profile photos and introduction video can be replaced or removed in Profile. Messages you sent can be deleted from their message menu. For access, correction, portability or another privacy request, email contact@wapmass.co.uk.
